The "Sino-Swiss Friendship Day" is held in Shantou

From Nov. 15 to 16, the "Sino-Swiss Friendship Day", jointly sponsored by the Swiss Consulate General in Guangzhou, the Swiss Agency for Trade and Investment, the Swiss Centre for Science and Culture, the Swiss National Tourism Administration (Beijing/Hong Kong) and the Shantou Foreign Affairs Bureau, was held in Shantou. The Switzerland's ambassador to China, Jean-Jacques de Dardel, Swiss Consulate General in Guangzhou, Didier Boschung, Deputy Consulate General, Beat Schmid, and the relevant leaders from Shantou City attended the event.

On the evening of November 15, a unique classic concert was held in the report hall of Shantou Library to inaugurate the "Sino-Swiss Friendship Day". On the morning of November 16, the photographic exhibition "China Between Yesterday and Tomorrow" was opened on the first floor of the library, featuring 65 photographic works of Swiss photographer Fernand Gigon in the 1950s, which will last until December 10. On the afternoon of November 16, three workshops took place to provide information on investment, innovative education and tourism in Switzerland, where the Swiss Business Hub, Swissnex China and other agencies introduced Switzerland's highly attractive investment environment, innovative travel ideas and the unique dual-track education system.

  11月15至16日,由瑞士驻广州总领事馆连同瑞士贸易与投资处、瑞士科技文化中心、瑞士国家旅游局(北京/香港)和汕头市外事侨务局等联合主办的“中瑞友谊日”活动在我市举行。瑞士驻华大使戴尚贤,瑞士驻广州总领事博智东、副总领事白睿以及汕头市有关领导出席活动。
  11月15日晚,一场别开生面的经典音乐会在市图书馆报告厅举行,拉开“中瑞友谊日”系列活动的序幕。11月16日上午,《永恒国度的岁月光影》摄影展在市图书馆一楼开幕,展出瑞士摄影师费尔南德·吉贡(Fernand Gigon)1950年代的65幅摄影作品,展览将持续至12月10日。11月16日下午举行了三场提供瑞士投资、创新教育体系及旅游专业资讯的研讨会,瑞士贸易投资处(Swiss Business Hub)、瑞士科技文化中心(Swissnex China)等机构介绍了瑞士极具吸引力的投资环境、瑞士首创的旅行创意以及独特的双轨制教育体系。
