Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology has been included in the international exchange network of Israel Institute of Technology, which means that GTIIT students will have the opportunity to enter Israel Institute of Technology's partner schools to conduct exchange learning and expand the academic experience.
The first 26 partner schools of Israel Institute of Technology all are world-renowned universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, and Johns Hopkins University. The implementation of the exchange program will provide students with an opportunity to broaden their international horizons, and will also be conducive to enhancing academic exchanges between the two sides and sharing high-quality educational resources. At present, the school is discussing and implementing the details of student exchange with colleges and universities, including two-way mutual student dispatch, mutual tuition exemption, mutual credit recognition, etc., and it plans to implement the international exchange program starting from the winter of 2019.By that time, students who participate in the exchange program only need to pay the tuition of the school and bear the additional expenses incurred due to the exchange, such as visa fees, transportation expenses, accommodation expenses, other living expenses, etc., while there is no need to pay the tuition of the exchange school. The first batch of exchange students are scheduled to start going to overseas universities or colleges in spring 2020 for one-semester or school year study.
