On October 15, the second phase project of Guang'ao Port Area passed the handover acceptance successfully, marking the completion of the project and providing guarantee for the formal operation of the port. Henceforth, the terminal can be berthed by large container ships with a capacity of more than 100,000 tons operating on American, Middle East and European routes, which can meet the requirements of main line liner operation ship type and berthing timeliness.

汕头广澳港区二期工程交工验收

10月15日，广澳港区二期工程顺利通过交工验收，标志该工程全面完工，为港口的正式运营提供保障。今后，码头可停靠运营于美洲航线、中东航线、欧洲航线的10万吨级以上大型集装箱船舶，满足干线班轮运营船型和靠泊时效性的需求。
