On November 24, the 6th Chaoshan Cycling Festival with the theme of "Millennium Chao Culture, All Cheer for Asian Youth Games" was successfully held under the guidance of Shantou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and the sponsorship of Shantou Cycling Association. More than 50 cycling teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the three cities of eastern Guangdong and the surrounding cities and provinces, and about 800 bicycle enthusiasts set off from Fantawild Adventure Blue Mercury Theme Park Plaza to ride along Raoping and Chenghai for about 125 kilometers. 

The Chaoshan Cycling Festival is the most characteristic and influential cycling sports event in eastern Guangdong with wide participation and distinctive theme. The sponsor hopes to take this opportunity to promote the Chaoshan culture and the 2021 Asian Youth Games to the world, to introduce the city cards such as tourism, livability and food, and to propel the development of fitness activities for general public.

2019第六届潮汕骑行节顺利举办  

11月24日，由汕头市文化广电旅游体育局指导，汕头市自行车运动协会主办的“千年潮文化万众亚青情”2019第六届潮汕骑行节顺利举办。来自粤港澳大湾区、粤东三市及周边省市的50多支骑行队伍、约800位自行车爱好者从方特蓝水星主题公园广场出发，沿途绕饶平、澄海骑行约125公里。  

潮汕骑行节是粤东自行车运动最具特色、影响力大、参与性强、主题鲜明的体育盛会。主办方希望以此为契机，向外界宣传潮汕文化、2021亚青盛会，宣传我市旅游、宜居、美食等城市名片，并推动全民健身活动的开展。
