On November 6, CMA CGM Virginia, a 294m long container ship, safely berthed at No.3 berth of Guang'ao Port Area under the careful guidance of senior pilot of Shantou Port pilot station, setting the longest record in the longest length among the vessels entering Shantou Port in its history.
  
Built in 2008,"CMA CGM Virginia" has length of 294 meters, a width of 32 meters, a bow draft of 9.9 meters and a stern draft of 10.0 meters. In this voyage, it arrived at the port with 5095 standard containers, being the largest ship in size since Shantou Port opened.

294米巨轮安全靠泊汕头广澳港  

11月6日，船长达294米的集装箱船“正利海蛇轮（CMA CGM VIRGINIA）”在汕头港引航站高级引航员的精心引领下，安全靠泊广澳港区3号泊位，创下汕头港有史以来进港船舶船长最长的纪录。  

　　“正利海蛇轮（CMA CGM VIRGINIA）”建造于2008年，船长294米，船宽32米，船艏吃水9.9米，船尾吃水10.0米，本航次装载标准集装箱 5095标箱到港，是汕头港开港以来尺度最大的船舶。
