Integrated communication in Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang is fully implemented from April 1st, which will provide strong support for integrating regional resources and accelerating the progress of urban integration in the region.
The communication integration adopts the proposal based on "Charge overlay package" and canceling fees for trunk call and roaming, which can be achieved without changing the original number, the original dialing habits or the original package. Since April 1st, the users can enjoy rate concessions only with relevant formalities from appropriate telecom companies. Currently, the basic telecom operators in the three cities have launched the product of 5 yuan/month "Charge overlay package" and provided the public with advisory services.

汕潮揭通信同城化全面实施
惠及三市百姓的汕潮揭通信同城化4月1日起全面实施，将为整合区域内资源、加速区域经济同城化进程提供强有力的支撑。
汕揭潮通信同城化采用“资费叠加包”、取消长途费和漫游费为主的方案，用户在不改变原有号码、不改变原有拨号习惯、不改变原有套餐的情况下即可实现。4月1日起，用户只需到相应的电信运营企业办理有关手续，即可享受汕潮揭通信资费同城化的优惠。目前，三市各基础电信运营商均已推出5元/月的“资费叠加包”产品并向公众提供咨询办理服务。
