In early July, Shantou＇s first community-oriented and completely free private welfare painting library - "Little Penguin Welfare Painting Library" opened, attracting a large number of parents and children to share the pleasure of parent-child reading.

There are orange cartoon floor, animal tables and chairs, cute little penguin doll, more than 2000 copies of colorful and interesting picture books in the library. In addition to reading in the library, children can borrow books for free. In just more than one week, the library has hosted nearly one hundred families, with more than 10 enthusiastic volunteers regularly coming to the library to tell children stories. Later, the library also plans to open "Penguins Academy", holds community series of public courses, and intends to establish picture book corners in the mountainous and rural schools or communities in Chaoshan area, to create "pleasure reading" paradise for more children.

　　7月初，汕头首个面向社区、完全免费的民办公益绘本馆——“小企鹅公益绘本馆”开馆，吸引了众多家长孩子前来共享亲子阅读的乐趣。
　　馆内有橙色的卡通地板、动物桌椅、可爱的小企鹅公仔、2000多册色彩缤纷、内容有趣的绘本等，孩子们除了可以在馆内阅读，还可免费借阅。短短一个多星期，绘本馆就接待了近百个家庭，还有10多位热心的志愿者自愿定期到馆内为孩子们讲绘本故事。下来绘本馆还计划开设“企鹅学院”，举办社区系列公益课程，并打算在潮汕地区的山区和农村学校或社区建立绘本角，为更多孩子打造“悦读”乐土。
