On the morning of September 23, the 7th Guangdong Overseas Experts Tour Shantou Stop, which was co-sponsored by Guangdong Human Resources and Social Security Department, Guangdong Foreign Experts Bureau and Shantou Municipal Government, was unveiled.

Themed as "Ocean, Cooperation and Innovation", the activity was organized at the establishment of the Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Zone and was attended by 15 high-level overseas experts from famous universities, research institutes and high-tech enterprises in America, Canada, England, Germany, France, etc. They are mostly holders of doctorate degrees and have come with business or research projects in the luggage in such fields as biomedicine, energy, environmental protection and big data. These experts inspected Shantou＇s innovation and business environment as well as the pilot zone＇s development planning and were impressed with the development momentum and prospect exhibited in the construction of the Shantou Special Economic Zone and, in particular, the Overseas Chinese pilot zone.

　　由省人力资源和社会保障厅、省外国专家局、汕头市政府主办的“广东省第七届海外专家南粤行汕头专场活动”9月23日上午拉开帷幕。
　　本次活动以“海洋、合作、创新”为主题，结合汕头华侨经济文化合作试验区的设立，共邀请了15名海外高层次人才莅汕。他们分别来自美国、加拿大、英国、德国、法国等国家的著名高校、研究机构和高新技术企业，大部分具有博士学位，并带有创业项目或研究课题，涉及生物医药、能源环保、大数据等专业领域。在实地考察我市创新创业环境和新区发展规划后，专家们对汕头经济特区、特别是华侨试验区建设中所展现的发展活力和广阔前景留下了深刻印象，纷纷表达了来汕创新创业、开展合作的意向。
