The Fifth "Teochewese Cup" International Regatta will be held on November 21-22 in Shantou, there will be 16 teams with about 200 people competing in the beautiful inner bay of Shantou.
This regatta is jointly organized by the Water Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China and Shantou Municipal Government, and undertaken by Administration of Sports of Shantou Municipality, Shantou Municipal Tourism Bureau and Shantou Sealife Pearl Harbor Yacht Club Limited. The events include same group track race and galleon track race, with the sea route around Shantou inner bay for about 6 nautical miles in two circles. There are five specialized teams competing in the Rally, with the route of approximately 20 nautical miles.
In addition to professional games, November 20 is the date set for public experience, and the organizers will organize a number of residents for visiting the anchored regatta, to experience the wonderful sailing.

“潮人杯”国际帆船赛11月下旬在汕举行
第五届“潮人杯”国际帆船赛将于11月21日至22日在汕头举行，届时将有16支船队约200人在美丽的汕头内海湾展开逐浪对决。
本届帆船赛由国家体育总局水上运动管理中心和汕头市政府联合主办，市体育局、市旅游局和汕头市海逸明珠帆船俱乐部有限公司承办。竞赛项目为同一组场地赛、大帆船场地赛，场地赛航行海域路线为汕头内海湾绕两圈约6海里。拉力赛将有5支专业船队参与角逐，航程约20海里。
除专业比赛外，11月20日被定为市民体验日，届时主办方将组织一定数量的市民前往帆船停泊处参观，体验帆船运动的精彩。
