Liu Shaoxi, Chairman of Guangdong Yihua Group, as a member of the Chinese entrepreneurs delegation, accompanied President Xi Jinping to attend the China-Africa Leaders and Business High-level Dialogue cum the fifth China-Africa Entrepreneurs Forum from December 2 to 5 in Johannesburg, and shared his successful experience in China-Africa cooperation at the "win-win cooperation and common development - helping Africa＇s integration and industrialization development" summit forum.
In June 2012, Yihua Timber purchased Africa＇s Gabon Waja Timber Co., Ltd. and invested in the development of 350,000 hectares of forest resources in Gabon, setting a precedent for acquisition of overseas forest resources by Chinese listed timber companies. Currently, the investments of Yihua in Gabon cover forest regeneration and intensive timber processing. At the same time, it has actively participated in community building and donations to schools and other public welfare activities, so as to establish a good relationship with the locality.

汕头民企走上中非企业家论坛
广东宜华集团董事长刘绍喜日前作为中国企业家代表团成员，随同国家主席习近平出席12月2日至5日在约翰内斯堡举行的中非领导人与工商界代表高层对话会暨第五届中非企业家大会，并在“合作共赢 共同发展——助推非洲一体化和工业化发展” 峰会论坛与中非企业界分享中非合作成功经验。
2012年6月，宜华木业成功收购非洲加蓬华嘉木业股份有限公司，投资开发加蓬35万公顷森林资源，开创了中国木业上市公司并购境外森林资源的先例。目前宜华在加蓬投资领域包括森林再生、木材深加工制造，同时积极参与社区建设和捐资助学等公益活动，与当地建立了良好关系。
