2016 Beijing (International) Exposition of New Urbanization Industry (Referred to as "BENUI") was held in Beijing National Convention Center from May 2 to 4 . As the first PPP project guaranteed by legislation, the Shantou＇s CITIC coastal new town received close attention from the vast number of industry experts and investors as soon as it debuted, and became the highlight of "BENUI".
CITIC Coastal New Town project gained a total investment of over RMB 50 billion yuan, and covered an area of 168 square kilometers in Haojiang District according to the plan. It is one of the starting area of Overseas Experimental Zone, and one of five integrated pilots of new urbanization counties (cities, districts) in Guangdong Province. Currently, new progress has been made in the construction of the south coastal area.. Chaozhou Historical Exhibition Center will be completed soon, the construction of the main work of Shantou Bay Tunnel will also be started, and the construction of municipal roads is also fully pushed forward. The area will be built into an ecological livable town of Shantou, and an investment hot spot in eastern Guangdong.

汕头中信滨海新城亮相 “城产会”
2016北京(国际)新型城镇化产业博览会(简称“城产会”)于5月2日至4日在北京国家会议中心举办。作为国内第一个获得立法保障的PPP项目——我市的中信滨海新城甫一亮相，就受到业内专家和广大投资商的热切关注，成为“城产会”的亮点。
中信滨海新城项目总投资超500亿元，规划范围涵盖濠江区168平方公里，是华侨试验区的起步区之一，成为广东省新型城镇化县(市、区)五个综合试点之一。目前，南滨片区建设取得新的进展，潮汕历史文化博览中心即将落成，汕头海湾隧道也将启动主体工程建设，市政道路建设也在全力推进中，将建成汕头宜居生态新城和粤东投资热土。
