The Chinese ecological restoration industry technological innovation strategic alliance delegation led by Yin Weilun, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, arrived in Shantou on the morning of June 23, 2016 to investigate the black and odorous water and the LianjiangLian River basin pollution in Shantou.
When meeting the delegation, Municipal Party Secretary Chen Liangxian hoped that the high-level talents in various aspects could visit and investigate Shantou as often as possible, making suggestions for the ecological environment governance and treatment, and the economic & social development of Shantou, so as to promote Shantou to accelerate the vigorous development and the scientific development. Yin Weilun appreciated the good trend of Shantou＇s economic & social development, and said that the delegation would bring into full play the technological advantages to aid Shantou in accelerating the water pollution governance, improving the water environment, scientifically governing the ecological environment pollution and creating the ecological civilization.

中国工程院院士带队莅汕考察黑臭水体治理
6月23日上午，由中国工程院院士尹伟伦带队的中国生态修复产业技术创新战略联盟考察组一行莅汕，对我市城市黑臭水体及练江流域污染情况进行调研考察。
市委书记陈良贤在会见考察组一行时，希望各方面高层次人才多来汕头参观考察，为汕头生态环境治理和经济社会发展把脉支招，推动汕头加快振兴发展、科学发展。尹伟伦对汕头经济社会发展的良好态势表示赞赏，表示考察组将发挥技术优势，助力汕头加快水体污染治理，改善水环境，科学治理好生态环境污染，构建生态文明。
