On the morning of December 28, the city held the "December 28" Key Project Centralized Start (Signing) Ceremony, through which, a number of key projects covering transportation infrastructure, industry, people's livelihood had a centralized start, completion or signing.
The Upgrading and Renovation Project for Making Shantou City's Huanghe Road (Taishan Road - Dongsha Road) Rapid launched this time is about 4.2 kilometers in total length and has an estimated total investment of 1.17 billion yuan; the Upgrading and Renovation Project for Making Shantou City's Taisan Road (Zhongtai Interchange - Huanghe Road) Rapid is 5.3 kilometers in length and 60 meters in width, including roads, bridges, drainage, traffic, lighting, landscape greening, etc., the total investment of the project is 1.411 billion yuan; Donghong residential and industrial technology park project is the first prefabricated production base in eastern Guangdong, with a total investment of about 250 million yuan. It mainly researches and produces prefabricated PC components, urban underground comprehensive pipe gallery, etc., with an annual output of 200,000 cubic meters of PC components.
At the same time, there are five key projects signed in a centralized manner: Bonded Zone, Longhu District, Qijiang District, Chaoyang District and Chaonan District signed a cooperation agreement respectively with Shantou Baoneng Logistics Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shantou Ultrasonic Electronics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd. ,Urban Zhigu Technology (Shantou) Co., Ltd. and Shantou Wutian Cultural Industry Development Co., Ltd.The total investment of the five projects is nearly 15 billion yuan. The investment and construction is of great significance for the city to further overcome infrastructure weaknesses, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development.

汕头举行“12·28”重点项目集中启动（签约）仪式
12月28日上午，我市举行“12·28”重点项目集中启动（签约）仪式，一批涵盖交通基础设施、产业、民生的重点项目集中开工、竣工、签约。
此次启动的汕头市黄河路(泰山路-东厦路)快速化升级改造工程，路线全长约4.2公里，项目估算总投资11.70亿元；汕头市泰山路（中泰立交-黄河路）快速化升级改造工程，道路长度5.3公里，宽度60米，工程内容包括道路、桥梁、排水、交通、照明、景观绿化等，项目总投资为14.11亿元；东泓住工科技园项目是粤东首个装配式生产基地，总投资额约2.5亿元，主要研发生产装配式PC预制构件、城市地下综合管廊等，预计年产PC部品构件20万立方米。
同时还有五个重点项目集中签约，保税区、龙湖区、濠江区、潮阳区、潮南区分别与汕头市宝能物流有限公司、广东汕头超声电子股份有限公司、上海电气风电集团有限公司、都市智谷科技（汕头）有限公司、汕头市伍田文化产业发展有限公司签订合作协议。五个项目总投资近150亿元，其投资建设对于我市进一步补齐基础设施短板、推动产业转型升级，实现高质量发展具有重大意义。
