May 6th is the first working day after the May Day holiday. At the morning rush hour of that day, the Mayor, Zheng Jiange, came to the intersection of Zhongshan Jinhuan Road and participated in the intersection traffic management volunteer service as an ordinary volunteer. He assisted the traffic police on duty to direct traffic, dissuaded uncivilized traffic behaviors, and advocated that Party members and cadres shall take the lead and citizens shall proactively participate in the campaign to jointly build Shantou as a civilized city of the country.

On the morning of the same day, other leaders of the city, including Li Yu, Qiu Yihui, Zeng Xianglan and Li Zhao, also went to relevant intersections in the city's central area to participate in voluntary traffic management activities.

汕头市领导上街开展交通管理志愿服务

　　5月6日是“五一”小长假后的第一个工作日。当天上午交通流量早高峰，市长郑剑戈以一名普通交通志愿者的身份，来到中山金环路口，参加路口交通管理志愿服务活动，协助执勤交警指挥疏导交通，劝导不文明交通行为，倡导党员干部带头示范、市民群众人人参与、合力创建全国文明城市的良好风尚。

当天上午，市领导李宇、邱奕辉、曾湘澜、李钊也分别前往中心城区相关路口参加交通管理志愿服务活动。
