On June 3, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shantou BUYNOW Digital Plaza, one of urban commercial complexes of the first batch planned by Shantou City was formally held, symbolizing the kick-off of the Project. 

This Digital Plaza is invested and developed by Taiwan Bluesky Computer Group. The Plaza will take the digital and electronics products as the main trade, and integrate shop operation, conferences and exhibitions, information services, marketing and promotion, e-commerce, modern logistics, education and training, technical exchange, integrated shopping centers and office buildings, etc. The total floor area is about 153,000 square meters. The planned investment is about 800 million yuan. After completion, the Project will be helpful to further promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional commerce and trade industry of Shantou, and improve the central urban radiation and service capacity of Shantou.

　　6月3日，作为我市首批规划的城市商业综合体之一的汕头百脑汇数码广场正式奠基开工。
　　该数码广场由台湾蓝天电脑集团投资开发，将以数码电子产业交易为主，集商铺经营、会议展览、信息服务、营销推广、电子商务、现代物流、教育培训、技术交流、综合商场、写字楼等功能为一体，总体建筑面积约15.3万平方米，拟投资人民币约8亿元。项目建成后，将有助于进一步推动我市传统商贸业转型升级，提升汕头中心城市辐射服务能力。
