Zeng Fengbao, male, born in August 1971, native of Ningdu, Jiangxi, Han nationality, started working in July 1993, joined the Communist Party of China in February 1992, postgraduate of the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (majoring in economics from the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC), and Bachelor of Science.

After September 1989, he studied in Jiangxi Gannan Normal University, majoring in chemistry education; after July 1993, he was a teacher at Shaoguan No. 1 Middle School and served as deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee (seconded to work in the Shaoguan Education Commission Office from August 1996 to January 2002); after January 2002, he served as director of the Office of the Education Bureau of Shaoguan; after January 2003, he served as deputy mayor of Nanxiong City; after November 2006, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee; after December 2006, he served as deputy investigator of the Propaganda and Education Division, Hong Kong Island Affairs Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; after May 2009, he served as investigator of the Propaganda and Education Division, Hong Kong Island Affairs Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; after March 2010, he served as deputy secretary of the Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County Party Committee (division level); after November 2011, he served as director of the Education Bureau of Shaoguan and deputy secretary of the Municipal Education Working Committee; after February 2012, he served as director of the Education Bureau of Shaoguan and secretary of the Municipal Education Working Committee; after September 2013, he served as deputy secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee; after October 2013, he served as deputy secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee, deputy mayor, and acting mayor; after January 2014, he served as deputy secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee and mayor; after November 2014, he served as secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee and mayor; after May 2015, he served as secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee; after June 2015, he served as secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of Nanxiong Municipal People’s Congress (from September 2012 to July 2015, he studied as an in-service postgraduate majoring in economics from the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC; from May 2016 to July 2016, he studied in the seminar for County Party Secretary of the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC); after December 2016, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee and secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee; after February 2017, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee, secretary of Nanxiong Municipal Party Committee, director of the Administrative Committee of Furong New District, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group; after March 2017, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee, director of the Administrative Committee of Furong New District, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group; after May 2017, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, a member of the Standing Committee of Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee, director of the Administrative Committee of Furong New District, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group; after June 2017, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, and secretary-general; after January 2021, he served as deputy secretary of the Shantou Municipal Party Committee, deputy mayor, acting mayor, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Government, and in the same month, he was elected as mayor of Shantou City.
