From August 30 to September 1, an investigation group led by Pan Qilong, Deputy Chief Economist of China Nuclear Engineering Group, visited Shantou to carry out strategic cooperation survey.

China Nuclear Engineering Group is an extra large state-owned enterprise, which has a complete industrial system of nuclear science and technology. In this visit to Shantou, the work of the investigation group focuses on in-depth survey, investigation and discussion on the "Shantou • China＇s Zirconium City" Project to be jointly built by China Nuclear Engineering Group and Shantou Municipal People＇s Government through cooperation.

"China＇s Zirconium City" Project is the "No.1 Project" of Shantou City. Shantou Municipal Party Committee, Shantou Municipal Government, and Chenghai District Government have provided a full range of quality services in aspects such as project planning, application, construction, and publicity. After the project cooperation is started, Shantou will continue to provide supporting services for the project of "Shantou • China＇s Zirconium City" by integrating the resources and efforts of the whole city, so as to ensure the successful and health development of the project construction.

　　8月30日至9月1日，由中国核工业集团副总经济师潘启龙带领的考察组一行莅汕开展战略合作调研。
　　中国核工业集团是特大型国有独资企业，拥有完整的核科技工业体系。此次莅汕的工作重点是对中国核工业集团与汕头市人民政府合作建设“汕头•中国锆城”的项目进行深层次的调研、考察和商谈。
