Recently, Guangdong Marine Economy Map, the first marine economy map in China, has been officially issued by Guangdong government, in which the concept of "six great bays and one peninsula" was first proposed. According to the tentative idea of "Great Shantou Bay", resources in Shantou Port, Chaozhou Sanbaimen Port, and Jieyang Shenquan Port will be unified and integrated. Island development and port centered industries in these three cities may focus on their respective prominent features to form a new marine economy development pattern with distinctive features of functional complementation, strength aggregation and the harmony between human being and the sea. Great Shantou Bay will be in the leading place in the marine economy circle in east Guangdong, and seek leapfrog development of regional marine economy.

　　近日，国内首部海洋经济地图——《广东海洋经济地图》由省政府正式发布，并首次提出“六大湾区一半岛”的概念。根据其中“大汕头湾区”的构想，汕头港、潮州三百门港、揭阳神泉港将进行资源统一筹划整合，三市的海岛开发和临港产业也可充分突出各自的特点，构建各具特色、功能互补、优势集聚、人海和谐的海洋经济发展新格局，将成为广东省粤东海洋经济圈的龙头，谋求区域性海洋经济的跨越式发展。
