On May 22 and 23, the investigating group of CNNC (China National Nuclear Corporation), led by deputy general manager Lv Huaxiang of CNNC and president Pan Liang of supervision committee of CNNC accredited by the State Council, visited Shantou. Li Feng, Secretary of Shantou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Mayor Zheng Renhao had a conference with the investigating group on enhancing cooperation in a strategic cooperation framework agreement between Shantou government and CNNC to promote communication in the construction of Gaocheng project.

At the conference, Li Feng introduced economic and social development in Shantou in the hope that CNNC will speed up its specific investment project in Shantou and substantially promote the strategic cooperation to create win-win situation and drive the leapfrog economic, social and scientific development in Shantou. Lv Huaxiang said that CNNC makes investment in Shantou because they are optimistic about its good investment environment and development prospect. He also extended his wish that the integrated research work would strengthen understanding one another, and further define the projects of their related investments respectively in order to make long-term strategic and cooperative investments to create mutual benefits and promote social and economic development in Shantou.

　　5月22日至23日，由中核集团副总经理吕华祥、国务院派驻中核集团监事会主席潘良率领的中核集团调研组莅汕考察。市委书记李锋、市长郑人豪与调研组一行座谈，就市政府与中核集团在战略合作框架协议中加强合作，共同推进中国锆城项目建设情况进行交流。
　　座谈中，李锋介绍了汕头经济社会发展情况，希望中核集团加快推进具体投资项目落地建设，实质性推动双方的战略合作，实现双方互利共赢，促进汕头经济社会科学发展、跨越式发展。吕华祥表示，中核集团来汕投资就是看好汕头良好的投资环境和发展前景，希望通过这次综合调研，加强了解，进一步明确相关投资项目，与汕头实现长期共赢的战略合作投资，推动汕头经济社会发展。
