On the morning of June 7，the conference of Shantou urban development strategy and promotion of "Golden Phoenix Peninsula" land sponsored by municipal government was held in Regency Hotel Shantou. At the conference, the only large-scale commercial and residential land "Golden Phoenix Peninsula" in Shantou in 2012 was promoted with the theme of "the center of east Guangdong, the door of new value", which attracted 35 local real estate enterprises and enterprises from Chaozhou and Jieyang etc. to attend this conference.

With the implementation of urban integration strategy of Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang, regional advantage of the western Shantou which is located in "Golden Triangle" area of Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang comes out gradually. The total area of "Golden Phoenix Peninsula" is about 2 sq.km., natural and ecological environment is advantageous and it is the first part of development and construction of west ecological new city. With the construction of a series of transportation network including Golden Phoenix West Road, the transportation of Golden Phoenix Peninsula is strengthened, which will also promote the value of the land. The first phase of Golden Phoenix Peninsula will bring out 3 plots with over 200Mu， which takes residential function as the principal function and combines commercial, cultural and relaxation function, highlights ecological environment construction, strengthens the theme of "Peninsula" and sets up a modern residential district which is reasonable in overall arrangement, complete in function, perfect in facilities and relatively high in construction standard.

　　6月7日上午，由市政府主办的汕头市城市发展战略暨“金凤半岛”土地推介会在帝豪酒店举行，以“大粤东中心 新价值门户”为主题推介2012年度我市唯一大规模的商住用地“金凤半岛”项目，吸引了35家本地以及潮州、揭阳等地的房地产企业参会。
　　随着汕潮揭同城化战略的实施，坐享汕头、潮州、揭阳三市“金三角”区域的我市西片区的区位优势逐步显现。“金凤半岛”总面积约2平方公里，自然生态环境优越，是西部生态新城开发建设的第一站。随着金凤西路等一系列交通网络建设，岛上的通达性增强，也将进一步提升土地的价值。金凤半岛首期推出3地块共200多亩，将以居住功能为主、兼有商业和文化休闲功能，突出生态环境建设，强化“半岛”主题，创建一个布局合理、功能齐全、设施完善、建设标准较高的现代化居住区。
