In order to accelerate Shantou＇s private economy and push forward its industrial transformation and upgrading, the "Five One-Hundred" Projects would be implemented as a priority in our city this year. Detailed policies and measures would be launched to encourage enterprises to increase investment and expand production as well as put more efforts in research & development, innovation and brand establishment. Perfect service platforms for financing, talent recruiting, technology and laws and regulations will be constructed, under the purpose of increasing the scale and total volume of private economy and SMEs and micro-enterprises, promote the qualities and enhance their comprehensive competitiveness.

The "Five One-Hundred" Projects involve five branch projects, namely, the Growing Project of 100 Key Enterprises, the Transformation and Upgrading Project of 100 Traditional Advantage Enterprises, the Cultivation Project of 100 Strategic Newly-rising Industrial Enterprises, Founding Project of 100 Shantou Origins-supported Enterprises and the Development Project of 100 Modern Service Enterprises.

　　为加快我市民营经济发展，推动产业转型升级，今年我市将重点实施“五个100”工程，出台具体政策措施，鼓励企业增资扩产、研发创新和品牌建设，构建较为完善的融资、人才、技术、信息、法律等服务平台，进一步推动我市民营经济和中小微企业壮大规模总量、提升质量，增强综合竞争力。
　　“五个100”工程包括100家骨干企业做强做大工程、100家传统优势企业转型升级示范工程、100家战略性新兴产业企业培育发展工程、100家乡贤反哺企业项目的落地工程、100家现代服务业企业做强做优工程。
