According to relevant policies of "three old" reconstruction, the newly constructed industrial zone in Longhu District is being reconstructed to build Chaoshan Cultural Creative Industry Park which will be the Chaoshan version of "798" (798 Arts District is the new landmark of city culture of Beijing).

Chanshan Cultural Creative Industry Park will center on Shantou to build the very first large comprehensive culture and art exchange industrial park which integrates culture and art exchange, creative design and E-commerce and focuses on characteristic pillar industries such as underwear, toy, hosiery, ceramics, etc. The Industry Park will be constructed in two phases and more than 21 million RMB has been invested for the first phase with a construction area of about 29000 square meters. It is expected to be completed by the end of this year. At present, there are 29 enterprises engaging in film and television, graphic design, advertisement, catering devising, E-commerce from Chanshan entered the Park, and more than 20 other enterprises have signed the reservation contracts and are about to enter the Park for decoration.

　　我市根据“三旧”改造的相关政策，对位于龙湖区的新兴工业区进行改造升级，建设潮汕文化创意产业园，着力打造潮汕版“798”(798文化区为北京都市文化新地标)。
　　潮汕文化创意产业园将以汕头为中心，打造潮汕第一家集文化艺术交流、创意设计和电商相结合，围绕区域内衣、玩具、针织、陶瓷等特色支柱产业为一体的大型综合文化艺术交流产业区。产业园将分两期建设，首期已投入2100多万元，建筑面积约29000平方米，预计今年底完成建设。目前，园区已进驻来自潮汕各地的影视、平面设计、广告、餐饮策划、电商等企业29家，另有20多家签订了预定合同，即将进园启动装修。
