Senior vice president Melery of Walmart (China) Investment Co., Ltd. visited Shantou on the morning of May 15, with an exchange of views and discussion on further deepening cooperation with our city.

Municipal Party Secretary Chen Maohui said at the meeting that the government would offer Walmart full support for the further development of new projects in Shantou, the introduction of new types of business, the promotion of traditional commerce and service industry to accelerate transformation and upgrading through the introduction of advanced management and operation mode, and the improvement of the city＇s radiation force as a central city in eastern Guangdong. Melery expressed full confidence in Walmart＇s development prospect in Shantou and hoped to further develop new projects and cooperate in broader areas on the existing basis to realize win-win growth.
