On the afternoon of December 1, Yang Ruikai,  President of the Cloud Business Department of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and his party visited Shantou and had in-depth exchanges with Shantou City on strengthening strategic cooperation.

At the meeting, Chen Liangxian, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, hoped that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. would seize the rare opportunities for development in Shantou, cooperate with Shantou, and jointly participate in building the important  gateway  of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, constructing the smart city in eastern Guangdong, and promoting the continual innovation of the Internet industry service model. Yang Ruikai expressed appreciation for Shantou＇s strong momentum of development in recent years.  He hoped that Huawei would give full play to its advantage in mobile Internet, take the unique advantages of Shantou＇s submarine cable landing station, import Huawei＇s technology, service, and brand, find out the right direction for industrial development, strengthen the strategic cooperation in intelligent manufacturing, smart city construction, big data platform, cloud computing data center, and other respects,  and make contributions to accelerate the revitalization and coordinated development of Shantou.
