On the afternoon of January 12, Chairman of Huarong Overseas Chinese Asset Management Co., Ltd., and his party visited Shantou, and had exchanges with Shantou City on further deepening cooperation and making Huarong overseas Chinese asset management platform stronger and larger.

Since its operation on December 29, 2015, Huarong Overseas Chinese Asset Management Co., Ltd. is the first central state-owned enterprise conducting industrial cooperation with Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Area, the first project which made investment and obtained profit in the same year, and the first financial enterprise which sets up a branch in Hong Kong. In the past two years, it has paid total taxes of over RMB 100 million in Shantou City.

At the meeting, Sun Guanghui, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Committee of the Political and Legal Affairs, hoped that Huarong Overseas Chinese Asset Management Co., Ltd. would continue to increase investment, train more financial talents for Shantou, develop more financial industry projects, support and boost the development of the real economy of Shantou, well run its headquarters in Shantou, and play an exemplary leading role in the development of Shantou＇s financial industry.

　　华融华侨公司2015年12月29日挂牌运作，是第一个与汕头华侨试验区进行产业合作的央企、第一个当年投资当年收益的项目、第一个在香港设立分支机构的金融企业，两年来在汕头市纳税总额超过1亿元。
　　市委副书记、政法委书记孙光辉在会见中希望华融华侨公司继续加大投资力度，为汕头培养更多的金融人才，开展更多金融产业项目，支持带动汕头实体经济发展，办好公司汕头总部，为汕头金融产业发展发挥示范引领作用。
