Recently, the People＇s Government of Guangdong Province issued Guangdong Province Three-year Action Plan for Information Infrastructure Construction (2018-2020), which includes an important task of supporting Shantou＇s construction of 5G-oriented Internet of things and smart city demonstration area.

The Plan defines the main tasks of Guangdong Province three-year action plan for information infrastructure construction, including promoting the construction of IPv6 network, fully building high-standard all optical network, and developing a new generation of mobile communication networks. The Plan requires that local governments should open the resources of social and communication poles and towers, and popularize the city smart lamp pole with the function  of "one pole for multiple purposes", so as to relieve the shortage of base station sites.

　　近日，省政府出台《广东省信息基础设施建设三年行动计划(2018-2020年)》，其中，支持汕头建设面向5G技术的物联网与智慧城市示范区被作为一项重要任务列入行动计划。
　　该《计划》明确了广东省信息基础设施建设三年行动计划的主要任务，包括推进IPv6网络建设、全面建成高水平全光网、发展新一代移动通信网络等。要求各地政府要开放社会杆塔和通信杆塔资源，推广具有“一杆多用”功能的城市智慧灯杆，纾解基站站址紧缺问题。
