On the afternoon of June 26, Teochew entrepreneurs of Shantou Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen visited Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Area, had a meeting to offer advice for the implementation of innovation-driven development in Shantou, and  said they would contribute to the high-end industrial agglomeration in Shantou Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Area.

At the meeting, Shantou Chamber of Commerce, the International Non-Governmental Exchange Centre at Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Think Tank, and  Shantou Association of Economic and Cultural Exchange of Overseas Chinese signed the tripartite strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the three parties will give full play to the advantages of overseas Chinese resources, build a liaison platform for promoting communication and expanding cooperation, serve China＇s Belt and Road Initiative,  strengthen the efforts to attract investment and talent, promote exchanges and cooperation between Shantou and foreign countries in economy, trade, science and technology, culture and other projects, and boost Shantou to achieve the goals of economic and social development.

　　6月26日下午，深圳市汕头商会的潮汕籍企业家来到市华侨经济文化合作试验区参观座谈，为汕头实现创新驱动发展建言献策，并纷纷表示将为试验区实现高端产业集聚贡献力量。
　　会上，深圳市汕头商会、深圳市侨商智库国际民间交流中心以及汕头市华侨华人经济文化交流协会签订了三方战略合作协议。根据协议，三方将充分发挥侨务资源优势，搭建促进交流、扩大合作的联络平台，服务国家“一带一路”建设，加大涉侨引资引智工作力度，促进汕头与多国经济、贸易、科技、文化等项目的交流合作，助推汕头实现经济社会发展目标。
