Recently,  the Economic & Information Commission of Guangdong Province officially approved the list of the third group of Guangdong manufacturing innovation centers to be established, including the project of Guangdong Intelligent Ultrasonic Imaging Technology Innovation Center jointly established by a number of enterprises and universities under the initiation of Shantou Institute of Ultrasonic Instruments Co., Ltd., which marked that the first provincial-level manufacturing innovation center in eastern Guangdong would be set up in Shantou City.

After the establishment of Guangdong Intelligent Ultrasonic Imaging Technology Innovation Center, it will keep a foothold in eastern Guangdong, meet the development requirements of common key technologies for the ultrasonic imaging manufacturing industry, train multi-level innovative talents for the development of ultrasound imaging technology, and promote the upgrading of the common technology level in the industry and the development of the industry.

　　近日，广东省经济和信息化委正式批复广东省制造业创新中心(第三批)筹建名单，我市超声仪器研究所有限公司牵头多家企业、高校联合组建的广东省智能化超声成像技术创新中心项目名列其中，标志着粤东首个省级制造业创新中心将落户我市。
　　创新中心建成后将立足粤东，面向超声成像制造业共性关键技术的发展需求，以自动化、智能化为发展方向，为超声成像技术领域发展培养多层次创新人才，促进行业共性技术水平提升和产业发展。
