November 5-10, the second China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.561 enterprise representatives from 243 enterprises in Shantou formed the Shantou delegation to participate in the expo to purchase, and there were 67 more enterprises in this expo than in the previous one.
During the participation, the Shantou delegation successively visited service trade exhibition area, equipment exhibition area, quality life exhibition area, food and agricultural product exhibition area, etc., and also visited the national pavilions of Cape Verde and other countries. The participating enterprises actively went to the booths they were interested in to observe products, understand information and negotiate business, hoping to taking advantage of this expo to collect resource information, find imported goods, and bring more results back to Shantou.
On the afternoon of November 5, Li Yu, member of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee and vice mayor, led more than 20 Shantou entrepreneur representatives to attend the "China Shantou —Republic of Cape Verde Bilateral Promotion Fair" jointly sponsored by Shantou Municipal Government and the delegation of the Republic of Cape Verde, conducting in-depth exchanges with the delegation of the government of Cape Verde on strengthening cooperation in various fields.

243家汕企组团参加第二届进博会
11月5日至10日，第二届中国国际进口博览会在上海国家会展中心举办。我市243家企业561名企业代表组成汕头分团参会采购，比上届增加了67家企业。
参会期间，汕头分团先后参观考察了服务贸易展区、装备展区、品质生活展区、食品及农产品展区等，拜访佛得角等国家展馆。参会企业积极前往有意向的展位观摩产品、了解资讯、洽谈业务，希望通过本次展会搜集资源信息，寻找进口商品，将更多成果带回汕头。
11月5日下午，市委常委、副市长李宇率20多位汕头企业家代表参加由汕头市政府和佛得角共和国代表团联合主办的“中国汕头—佛得角共和国双边推介洽谈会”，与佛得角政府代表团就加强多领域合作进行深入交流。
