On the afternoon of September 2, Li Feng, Secretary of CPC Shantou Committee, and Zheng Renhao, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shantou Committee and the Acting Mayor of Shantou City, met the delegation of China Satellite Co., Ltd. led by President Yan Zhongwen. Both sides exchanged their views on the related issues on the investment of China Satellite Co., Ltd. for the space satellite technology industry project in Shantou.

Li Feng said that Shantou Municipal Committee and Government attached great importance to the project invested by China Satellite Co., Ltd. in Shantou and stressed to properly plan the project based on high starting point and high standard, to push the project to the substantive implementation stage as soon as possible, so that the project may become both the accumulative place of high-tech industry and the new highlight for urban planning and construction of Shantou. Zheng Renhao said that Shantou Municipal Government would continue providing considerate services, increasing the support efforts and introducing a series of supporting policies to promote the project to be implemented, to make fast progress, and to be put into operation as soon as possible.

Yan Zhongwen said that the Company would step up to promote the preliminary work of the project invested in Shantou, and strive to complete and put the project into operation as soon as possible, to play the leading role and boost the development of the relevant industries in Shantou.

　　9月2日下午，市委书记李锋，市委副书记、代市长郑人豪会见了莅汕考察的中国卫星股份有限公司总裁闫忠文一行，双方就中国卫星股份有限公司在汕投资航天卫星技术产业项目相关事宜进行交流。
　　李锋表示，市委、市政府十分重视中国卫星股份有限公司在汕投资项目，强调要高起点、高标准做好项目规划，推动项目尽快进入实质性实施阶段，使之成为高新技术产业的聚集地，成为汕头城市规划建设的新亮点。郑人豪表示市政府将继续做好服务工作，加大扶持力度，出台一系列配套政策，促进项目落地、快速推进、早日投产。
　　闫忠文表示，公司将加紧推进在汕投资项目的前期工作，争取尽快建成投产，发挥辐射带动作用，助推汕头相关产业的发展。
