From October 14 to October 15, a delegation of Hong Kong China Merchants Group led by VP Hu Zheng visited Shantou. Li Feng, Secretary of CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, and Zheng Renhao, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor, met the delegation. Both sides have exchanged in deep in respect of urban construction, industry development and other issues.

Li Feng said, CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Government would create a good environment, put forth effort to resolve the problems in the cooperation between both sides, and spare no effort to support the development of the Group in Shantou, so as to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results. Hu Zheng hopes that both sides can keep close contact with each other,on its superiority, to seek cooperation opportunities on urban construction, industry development and other issues, so as to achieve common development.
