Giving play to the function of "three resources", our city made a great progress in the New Town Project in the east where strategic cooperation of large central enterprises was introduced. The total investment project funding was about RMB 2.48 billion Yuan, forming a land of nearly 8 square kilometers which was 40 percent of the project progress of coastal reclamation. A few days ago, CCCC Investment Company Ltd. held the "Mobilization Meeting (June 30th) of the Dyke closing at Xinjin Area"on the construction site, arranging and implementing comprehensively each target task in the dyke folding area and striving to finish the dyke folding at Xinjin area at the end of June.

Xinjin area had the most mature investment and development conditions among all the regions in the East New Town Project, which speeded up the sea reclamation progress and the start of regional development. It reflected that it was so effective that the Municipal Committee and Municipal Government introduced the large central enterprises such as CCCC Investment Company Ltd. as strategic cooperation partners to carry out the significant platform construction and drive the urban expansion. CCCC Investment Company (Shantou) will catch the golden construction period, practically increase the investment of fund, talents, technical force and mechanical equipment, open up more work areas and accelerate sea reclamation at Xinjin area.

　　我市发挥“三种资源”作用、引进大型央企战略合作中的汕头东部新城项目取得重大进展，累计投入项目资金约24.8亿元，形成陆域近8平方公里，完成项目围海造地进度的40％。日前，中交公司在施工现场召开“新津片区围堤合拢(6•30)推进动员会”，全面布置和落实片区围堤合拢节点各项目标任务，力争6月底完成新津片区围堤合拢。
　　新津片区是东部新城项目投资开发条件最成熟的片区，加快完成围海造地，尽快启动区域开发，体现了市委、市政府积极引进中交大型央企作为战略合作伙伴，实施重大平台建设，带动城市扩容提质的实实在在成效。中交(汕头)公司将抓住现在至9月的黄金施工期，切实加大资金、人才、技术力量及机械设备的投入，开辟更多的工作面，全力加快新津片区围海造地建设。
