Private investment is an important part of Shantou＇s social fixed assets investment, which has been the major force for growth, structure adjustment and securing livelihood. In the near future provincial government will issue a batch of major construction projects and concession projects in the field of transport, energy and social undertakings relating to exploitation of public resources, in which private investment is encouraged. Taking advantage of considerable Chaozhou merchants at home and abroad and rich resources of private capital, Shantou will also plan, select and package a batch of major projects to attract and encourage Chaozhou merchants at home and abroad as well as local private companies to invest in various forms of operations, so as to stimulate endogenous power of Shantou＇s economic development, and promote sustainable development of a stable and healthy economy. To this end, Shantou will continue to carry out the "Hundred-person service group" activities to solve any practical difficulties and problems for enterprises, and guide private enterprises to continue capital expansion, implement transformation and upgrading, and improve strength. Meanwhile we will accelerate the transformation of government functions and deepen the reform of administrative examination and approval system to maximize the removal of parts of administrative examination and approval, reduce investment threshold and facilitate enterprises to invest.

　　民间投资是我市全社会固定资产投资的重要部分，已成为促增长、调结构、保民生的主要力量。近期省政府将在交通、能源、社会事业等涉及公共资源开发利用的领域，推出一批鼓励民间投资的重大建设项目和特许经营项目。我市也将充分利用海内外潮商众多和民资民力丰富的优势，谋划、筛选和包装一批重大项目吸引和鼓励海内外潮商和本地民营企业以多种形式参与投资建设运营，以激发我市经济发展的内生动力，促进经济平稳健康可持续发展。为此，我市将继续深入开展“百人服务团”活动，为企业解决实际困难和问题，引导民营企业不断增资扩产、转型升级、壮大实力。同时加快转变政府职能，深化行政审批制度，最大限度的取消行政审批事项，降低企业投资门槛，方便企业投资兴业。
