On December 14, the Second China (Chaonan) Underwear and Homewear Festival was opened in Chaonan District of our city to exhibit a city of fashion to people from everywhere through a series of economic and trade activities, including business talks, signing of contracts, launch of key projects and display of results.

The opening ceremony was accompanied by ceremonies marking the start, foundation laying and commissioning of 60 projects involving a total investment of 32.7 billion yuan in the fields of modern industries, traditional advantageous industries, infrastructure, people＇s well-being projects and renovation of old structures. Meanwhile, a signing ceremony was held for order placement with the textile and garment enterprises in Chaonan District. So far, 158 Chinese and foreign distributors have signed contracts to order 5.51 billion yuan worth of new products of underwear and homewear as well as the raw and auxiliary textile materials in 2014.

　　12月14日，第二届中国(潮南)内衣家居服装节经贸活动在我市潮南区拉开帷幕开幕。经贸洽谈签约、重点项目启动、规划成果展示等一系列经贸活动，向广大海内外潮人展示了一个风尚之都、家园潮南。
　　开幕式上，总投资额327亿元的60个重点项目举行了集中开工、奠基、投产、启动仪式，项目涵盖现代产业、传统优势产业、基础设施、民生工程和“三旧”改造等领域。同时，举行了潮南区纺织服装企业现场订货签约仪式，目前已有来自国内外的158家经销商签约订购2014年内衣家居服新品和纺织原辅材料，订货总额55.1亿元。
