On the afternoon of May 8, Guangdong Sci-Tech Finance Service Center Shantou Subcenter was unveiled in Polyacer Financial Street. It is the first Sci-Tech service subcenter in Guangdong as well as a positive experiment of Shantou City in promoting integration of science and finance.

Shantou City will take advantage of the Sci-Tech service subcenter to further promote science and finance integration, optimize financial environment for scientific SMEs, improve and enrich their investment and financing systems, improve industrial innovation ability and core competitiveness, exert the mainstay and leading roles of sciences in economic and social development and expedite the construction of innovative special economic zone.

　　5月8日下午，广东省科技金融服务中心汕头分中心揭牌仪式在柏亚金融街举行。这是全省首个挂牌运作的科技金融服务分中心，也是我市在促进科技与金融结合方面做出的积极尝试。
　　下来，我市将以建设科技金融服务分中心为契机，进一步推动科技与金融的结合，努力优化科技型中小企业融资环境，不断完善和丰富科技型中小企业投融资体系，切实提升企业创新能力和产业核心竞争力，切实发挥科技在经济社会发展中的支撑和引领作用，加快建设创新型经济特区。
