On the morning of December 21, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) and the municipal government of Shantou co-sponsored in the Guiyu Circular Economy Industry Park, Chaoyang District, a ceremony for the signing of a framework agreement on strategic cooperation, the inauguration of CECEP (Shantou) Renewable Resources Technologies Co., Ltd. and the kick-off of the construction of the hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and teardown workshops (Phase IV). It signifies that CECEP is officially involved in the construction of Guiyu Circular Economy Industry Park, which will promote the regulated and harmless development of the disassembly industry and exert a positive and far-reaching impact upon the construction of an eco-friendly circular economy demonstration park.

The comprehensive rectification of the environmental pollution in Guiyu and the construction of the circular economy industry park are now in the critical stage of full-speed progress. The fourth phase of the project, once completed and put into operation, will efficiently promote harmless and regulated treatment and effectively reduce the influence of the disassembly industry upon the local eco-system.

　　12月21日上午，中国节能环保集团公司与市政府在潮阳区贵屿循环经济产业园区举行战略合作框架协议签约暨中节能(汕头)再生资源技术有限公司揭牌和湿法冶炼、火法冶炼、集中拆解楼第四期项目开工仪式。标志着中国节能环保集团公司正式参与贵屿循环经济产业园区建设，对高标准规划建设园区，推动拆解产业规范化、无害化发展，打造环保型循环经济示范区将产生积极的促进作用和深远影响。
　　当前，贵屿环境污染综合整治和循环经济产业园区建设正处在全速推进的关键阶段。第四期项目建成投产后，将有力地促进拆解产业向无害化、规范化处理转变，有效减少拆解产业对当地生态环境的影响。
