Under the circumstance of slowing down of foreign trade in China, cosmetics export at Shantou Port grew up against the trend last year, amounting to USD116 million to nearly 60 countries and regions, mainly including the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Philippines and Saudi Arabia.

Shantou is one of the main cosmetics production bases in China. Affected by the weak recovery of international economy in overall, China＇s commodity trade showed severe situation of decline in both import and export in 2015. To support enterprises to develop foreign markets, in recent years, Shantou inspection and quarantine departments, through the implementation of business comprehensive reform and other methods, have done a lot of preparatory work to accelerate customs clearance for enterprises. While relevant export enterprises, by the ways of strengthening innovation and R&D, upgrading product technology and developing new markets, gain more market share of their products in international market.

　　在全国外贸形势下行的形势下，汕头口岸出口化妆品却逆势增长，去年出口达到1.16亿美元，出口国家和地区近60个，主要出口市场为美国、阿联酋、中国香港、菲律宾和沙特阿拉伯等。
　　汕头是我国主要的化妆品生产基地之一。受国际经济总体复苏乏力影响，我国2015年货物贸易呈现进出口双降的严峻局面。为支持企业开拓国外市场，近年来，汕头检验检疫部门通过推行业务综合改革等方法，为提升企业通关速度做了大量前期工作。相关出口企业也通过加大创新研发力度，提升产品技术含量，开拓新兴市场，使自身产品在国际市场上争取更大份额。
