Since the new year, the sites for key projects at the starting areas have been in full swing and shown thriving vitality everywhere in PZECCOC. This year, the pilot zone will focus on the construction priority of "an avenue - Binhai Avenue; two new towns - Xinjin New Town and Zhugang NewTown", centralize the resources and elaborately build "Xinjin New Town" into an important window to showcase the style and features of the construction and development in PZECCOC and even Shantou.

In order to carry out the survey and research achievements of the city delegation who went to visit the Southeast Asian countries this year, the experimental zone will organize financial companies such as fund companies and those enterprises listed on “Overseas Chinese Board” to go to Southeast Asia in the near future, to check the business indeed, and facilitate the implementation of the cooperation projects. Meanwhile, it will efficiently promote the pragmatic cooperation with the overseas Chinese enterprises and Chinese communities in Southeast Asia, actively connect with mature financial institutions in Southeast Asia, make use of their investment channels, and vigorously introduce the overseas funds to provide a powerful financial support for the domestic development of the substantial economy.

　　新年以来，华侨试验区起步区各个重点项目工地一片热火朝天，处处展露出勃勃生机。今年试验区将围绕“一条大道——滨海大道;两座新城——新津、珠港新城”的建设重点，集中资源，精心建设“新津新城”，将其打造成为展示华侨试验区乃至汕头建设发展风貌的重要窗口。
　　为落实今年市考察团赴东南亚国家考察调研成果，近期试验区将组织基金公司等金融企业以及“华侨板”挂板企业赴东南亚，实地对接业务、促成合作项目落地。同时，高效推进与东南亚相关华侨企业和华人社团的务实合作，积极对接东南亚成熟的金融机构，利用其投资渠道，大力引进华侨资金，为国内实体经济发展提供有力的资金支持。
