On the afternoon of August 24, Shantou Municipal Government signed the Framework Agreement on Energy Industry Cooperation with China Huaneng Group South China Branch. According to the Agreement, both parties willaim at the development of low-carbon clean energy, energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental protection and the joint building of a harmonious society, achieve common development by means of cooperative operation management. China Huaneng Group will further increase investment in Shantou, accelerate the development of the offshore wind power project in Shantou, propel the development in centralized and contiguous areas, and significantly enhancethe proportion of renewable energy in Shantou. In addition, ChinaHuaneng Group will accelerate the establishment of the joint venture, and carry out co-generation and central heating pipe network projects, so as to realize the transformation and development of the enterprise. Furthermore, China Huaneng Group will invest in developing the LNG receiving station and gas tri-generation project as well as the distributed energy station, photovoltaic, heat supply network and distribution network project in the industrial park, so as to expand its energy sales business.

　　8月24日下午，汕头市政府与中国华能集团南方分公司签订能源产业合作框架协议。根据协议，双方将围绕发展低碳清洁能源、节能减排、环境保护、共建和谐的目标，通过合作运营管理方式，实现共同发展。华能集团将进一步加大在汕头的投资，加快开发汕头海上风电项目，推进集中连片开发，大幅提升汕头可再生能源比重。加快成立合资公司，推动热电联供和集中供热管网项目，实现企业转型发展。投资开发LNG接收站和燃气热电冷三联供项目，开发工业园区分布式能源站、光伏、热网及配电网工程，拓展能源销售业务。
