On the morning of October 10, the launching ceremony of Shantou Longhu District Technology Innovation Center was held. Garage Cafe, a famous business incubator platform, was the first institution to settle down in the Center.

Longhu District Technology Innovation Center is located in Wanji Industrial Park on Taishan Road, with a total floor area of about 32,000 square meters. At present, the following technological innovation institutions have settled down and put up their nameplates in the Center: 12 listed companies including China National Analytical Center, Guangzhou, Shenzhen Talent Intellectual Property Service Office, Garage Cafe, LKK Innovation Design Group, and China Minsheng Banking Co., Ltd. In addition, several technology service institutions or organizations, including the Practice and Training Base for the College Students of Shantou University - Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and China-Israel Innovation Works, have put up their nameplates in the Center. Longhu District Technology Innovation Center will established the venture capital fund guided by the government and participated by the private capital, focusing on cultivating and fostering innovative  small and medium-sized enterprises as well as promoting the landing and marketization of technological innovation projects.

　　10月10日上午，汕头龙湖区科创中心举行启动仪式，知名创业孵化平台车库咖啡率先进驻。
　　龙湖科创中心坐落于泰山北路万吉工业区，建筑面积约3.2万平方米。目前，入驻并已挂牌科创中心的科技创新机构有中国广州分析测试中心、深圳市精英知识产权集团有限公司、北京创业之路咖啡有限公司、洛可可创新设计集团、民生银行等十二家上市公司，另外还有汕头大学•广东以色列理工学院大学生实习实训基地、中以创新工场等多家科技服务机构或单位在中心挂牌。龙湖科创中心还将由政府引导、民资参与，设立创投基金，重点培养和扶植创新中小企业，推动科技创新项目的落地与市场化。
