On the morning of February 26, Mayor Zheng Jiange held a meeting with Jin Xiaolong, President of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group.  The two sides had in-depth exchanges on conducting cooperation in the field of offshore wind power and accelerating the construction of the offshore wind power equipment project of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group in Shantou.

Zheng Jiange said that Shantou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government are full of confidence in deepening cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group would, under the precondition of ensuring quality and safety, speed up the construction of the Project, complete the Project and put it into production as soon as possible, so as to promote the development of related industries.

Jin Xiaolong said that Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group would give full play to its technical advantages and advanced experience in the field of offshore wind power, and go all out to promote the construction of the Project in Shantou; on this basis, it would promote the offshore wind power equipment in Guangdong Province, and build the Eastern Guangdong industrial chain of offshore wind power with Shantou as the leader.

The offshore wind power equipment project of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group in Shantou is located in Guang’ao Logistics Park in Haojiang District, covering an area of 9.07 hectares. The planned investment of the Project is RMB 500 million, under which 4-10MW offshore wind power host devices will be manufactured. The planned capacity is 150-200 devices. The expected annual output value is RMB 6-10 billion. Since it was settled down in November last year, the Project has been progressing well. Currently, the piles are being driven into the earth. The Project is expected to have production capacity by the end of this year. It will be built into the most advanced offshore wind power equipment base.

　　2月26日上午，市长郑剑戈与莅汕的上海电气风电集团总裁金孝龙举行座谈，双方就开展海上风电领域合作，加快推进上海电气汕头风电装备项目建设进行深入交流。
　　郑剑戈表示，汕头市委、市政府对深化双方合作充满信心，希望上海电气在确保质量、安全的前提下加快项目建设速度，争取早日建成投产，推进相关产业发展。
　　金孝龙表示，上海电气将充分发挥自身在海上风电领域的技术优势和先进经验，全力以赴推进汕头项目建设，并在此基础上将风电装备项目推向全省，打造以汕头为龙头的粤东海上风电产业链。
　　上海电气汕头风电装备项目位于濠江区广澳物流园，占地面积136亩，计划投资5亿元，生产4—10MW海上风电主机，计划产能150台至200台，预计年产值60亿元至100亿元。项目自去年11月落户以来进展顺利，目前正在打桩过程中，预计今年年底具备生产能力，争取建成最先进的海上风电装备基地。
