Shantou Offshore Wind Power Industry Alliance Came into Existence

On the morning of February 13, Haojiang District of our city held the ceremony for centralized signing, launch and put-into-operation of key projects of port industry and infrastructure in 2019. At the same time, Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group led more than 20 domestic upstream and downstream enterprises to jointly set up Shantou Offshore Wind Power Industry Alliance, which will make joint efforts to build an internationally competitive industrial cluster integrating offshore wind power development, design, equipment manufacturing, construction & installation, operation & maintenance and finance & insurance in Shantou, so as to assist Shantou in building an important development pole of modern coastal economic belt and speeding up the construction of the provincial sub-center city.
In addition, the government of Haojiang District signed the Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation with 13 enterprises, Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd. and Huaneng Group South Branch respectively to jointly build a wind power industry project with a total industrial chain layout. The project investment exceeds 10 billion yuan, and it will comprehensively enhance the energy level of wind power industry and activate the momentum of coastal economic development.

汕头海上风电产业联盟成立
2月13日上午，我市濠江区举行2019年临港产业和基础设施重点项目集中签约启动启用活动，同时上海电气风电集团牵头国内20多家上下游企业共同成立汕头海上风电产业联盟，将合力在汕头建设集海上风电开发设计、装备制造、施工安装、运营维护以及金融保险为一体的具有国际竞争力的产业集群，助力汕头打造现代化沿海经济带重要发展极，加快建设省域副中心城市。
此外，濠江区政府还分别与13家企业、上海电气风电集团有限公司与华能集团南方分公司签订《战略合作框架协议》，共同打造全产业链布局的风电产业项目，项目投资额超100亿元，将全面提升风电产业能级，激活沿海经济发展动能。
