On the morning of February 14, Mr. Xie Guomin, Senior Chairman of Chia Tai Group, and his party came to Shantou, conducting in-depth exchanges with our city to explore how to attract domestic and overseas Chao businessmen to return home to invest and develop their businesses as well as how to share development opportunities, so as to realize win-win cooperation.
During the meeting, Fang Lixu, secretary of the municipal party committee, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Xie Guomin for his important role in promoting China-Thailand friendship and contributing to the economic and social construction and public welfare development of his hometown, and he welcomed Mr. Xie Guomin and the Chao native people in Thailand to often return home to have a look and actively conduct investigation and study and offer advice and ideas for various undertakings of Shantou. Mr. Xie Guomin said that Chia Tai Group would make full use of its industrial production advantages to carry out in-depth cooperation with Shantou in vegetable planting, aquatic products, poultry breeding, deep processing of agricultural products and talent introduction and training, and explore new ways in agricultural industrialization operation, transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and other aspects, so as to jointly build a new model of characteristic agriculture in the new era and help Shantou's economy achieve high-quality development.
