Shantou Delegation Went to Russia and South Korea for Economic and Trade Exchange Activities

In order to actively participate in the construction of the Belt and Road and promote the city's enterprises to diversify their development in the international market, the CCPIT Shantou organized an economic and trade delegation to visit Russia and South Korea for economic and trade exchanges activities.
During the journey, the city's economic and trade delegation paid a visit to the Russian Federation of Asian Industrial Entrepreneurs, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Korea International Trade Association and conducted project docking with representatives from both Kaliningrad and Kaluga governments of Russia; at the same time, promoted Shantou's business environment, advantage industries and representative products while getting a thorough understanding of the business environment and product demand in Russia and South Korea. CCPIT Shantou made in-depth discussions with the chief representative of Guangdong Enterprise Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation on the Russian exhibition market, and reached a cooperative consensus on organizing Shantou cosmetics enterprises to explore the Russian market. Shantou enterprises also reached preliminary cooperation intentions with toys, pharmaceuticals, food and logistics companies of Russia and South Korea.

汕头组团赴俄罗斯、韩国开展经贸交流活动
为积极参与“一带一路”建设，促进我市企业多元化拓展国际市场，近日，市贸促会组织经贸代表团赴俄罗斯、韩国开展经贸交流活动。
期间，我市经贸代表团拜访了俄罗斯亚洲工业企业家联合会、俄罗斯圣彼得堡工商会、韩国贸易协会，并与俄罗斯加里宁格勒州政府、卡卢加州政府等机构代表进行项目对接，同时推介汕头的营商环境、优势行业和代表性产品，深入了解了俄罗斯和韩国的营商环境和产品需求情况。汕头市贸促会与广东省对外经济合作企业协会首席代表就俄罗斯的展览市场进行了深入探讨，并就组织汕头化妆品企业开拓俄罗斯市场达成了合作共识。汕头企业与俄罗斯和韩国的玩具、医药、食品和物流公司也初步达成了合作意向。
