On the morning of April 29, Wu Hongbin, president of The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, and his party visited Shantou, having an in-depth exchange with the city on matters such as further strengthening economic and trade cooperation.
  
During the informal discussion, Mayor Zheng Jiange expressed the hope that the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong would continue to be concerned about and support the construction and development of Shantou, further strengthen exchanges and enhance understanding, broaden areas of cooperation, upgrade the level of cooperation, and strive to promote friendly cooperation between Shantou and Hong Kong, so as to achieve win-win results and jointly create a better future. Wu Hongbin said that this time he led a delegation to visit Shantou, and everyone of the delegation was very optimistic about Shantou's development prospects while hoping to strengthen docking and communication so as to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between Shantou and Hong Kong through.

香港中华厂商联合会访问团一行莅汕

4月29日上午，香港中华厂商联合会会长吴宏斌一行莅汕，与我市就进一步加强经贸合作等事宜进行深入交流。

座谈中，市长郑剑戈希望香港中华厂商联合会继续关心支持汕头的建设发展，进一步加强交流增进了解，拓宽合作领域，提升合作水平，努力推动汕港友好合作实现共赢，共创美好未来。吴宏斌表示，这次率团来汕参观考察，大家都非常看好汕头的发展前景，希望下来通过加强对接沟通，进一步深化汕港之间的交流和合作。
