Xie Siyi, our city's player, played well and successfully defended the championship in the men's three-meter springboard, winning honors for China and Shantou again. This is the second gold medal that Xie Siyi has won in the game.

The two Chinese players, Xie Siyi and Cao Yuan, seized the opportunity to have a perfect final jump, making both of them achieve reversal. Xie Siyi finally won the championship with 545.45 points, Cao Yuan won the runner-up with 517.85 points, and the British player, Jack Laugher, won the third with 504.55 points. The Chinese players have won seven consecutive championships of this event in FINA World Championships, and Xie Siyi also has won two consecutive championships.

汕头选手谢思埸卫冕2019年世界游泳锦标赛男子三米跳板冠军
7月18日晚，在韩国光州进行的2019年世界游泳锦标赛结束了跳水男子三米板决赛争夺，我市选手谢思埸发挥出色，成功卫冕男子三米跳板冠军，再次为中国和汕头市赢得了荣誉。这是谢思埸在本届赛会夺得的第二枚金牌。
本场跳水男子三米板决赛争夺十分激烈，中国两将谢思埸和曹缘抓住机会，最后一跳发挥完美，双双实现逆转。谢思埸最终以545.45分获得冠军，曹缘以517.85分获得亚军，英国选手杰克·拉夫尔以504.55分获得第三。中国选手在世锦赛该项目上拿下七连冠，谢思埸个人也获得两连冠。
