From September 23 to 25, the Consul General of the Consulate General of Thailand in Guangzhou, Krongkanit Rakcharoen, led a delegation to visit Shantou and had a in-depth talk with the leaders of Shantou on enhancing friendship, expanding exchanges and seeking for win-win cooperation in a broader field and at a higher level.
Mayor Zheng Jiange pointed out during the meeting that the friendship between China-Thailand and Shantou-Thailand friendships have a long history and close exchanges, and the "China-Thailand family-like relationship" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people of two nations. It is hoped that both sides will further enhance mutual understanding and friendship, expand the exchanges between the two places in economy, trade, culture and tourism, and work together for a win-win situation. Krongkanit Rakcharoen said that she was astonished to see the new changes and new developments of Shantou and moved by the patriotism of the Chaoshan’s people in Thailand. The Consulate General of Thailand in Guangzhou will continue to care for and support the friendly exchanges between Shantou and Thailand, serve as a bridge to promote the economic and trade cooperation between the two places, and back up 2021 Asian Youth Games.

泰国驻广州总领事一行莅汕
9月23日至25日，泰国驻广州总领事馆总领事孔雀丽带队莅汕访问，与我市就进一步增进友谊，扩大交流，在更宽领域更高层次谋求合作共赢进行深入探讨。
