The Spring Festival rush for the aviation service this year starts from February 4 and ends on March 15. During this period, Chaoshan Airport will have 280 extra chartered flights, raising the total number to 3250 flights and the total seats to approximately 450,000. Over 380,000 passengers will travel by flights and the first wave of passengers will arrive around February 12 and last till February 17.

In response to the demand of overseas travel from the three cities in Chaoshan region, Chaoshan Airport will add 96 international and regional tourist flights during the Spring Festival, which will be flown by China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Singapore Jetstar and South Korea Jeju Air to such destinations as Bangkok, Chiengmai, Krabi (Phuket Island), Singapore, Da Nang, Seoul, Nagoya, Taichung, Kaohsiung, etc. The chartered flight from Chaoshan to Nagoya will be the first flight to Japan since the inauguration of Chaoshan Airport. Four flights are scheduled on the dates of February 16, 20 and 24. The flight will take about four hours for a single trip.

　　2015年民航春运将从2月4日开始，到3月15日结束。春运期间，潮汕机场将增开280个加班包机航班，进出港航班总数将达3250班次，提供座位约45万个，接送旅客将超过38万人次。预计首波客流高峰将在2月12日左右出现，持续到2月17日。
　　为满足潮汕三市市民出境旅游需求，今年春运潮汕机场增开96班国际及地区航班旅游包机，分别由南航、东航、新加坡捷星、韩国济州航空公司执飞，目的地包括曼谷、清迈、甲米(普吉岛)、新加坡、岘港、首尔、名古屋、台中、高雄等地，其中潮汕至日本名古屋的旅游包机是潮汕机场启用后首次开通到日本的航班，计划飞行4个航次，日期分别为2月16日、20日、24日，单程飞行时间约4小时。
