On the morning of April 6, with the theme of "harmonious society and feelings of compassion", the Third Guanyin Cultural Festival opened in Baofeng Temple. This festival aims to promote the historical and cultural traditions of Guanyin, integrating Guanyin spirit of compassion with civilization of harmonious society. Through a series of activities such as Guanyin cultural lectures, painting exhibition, Depository of Buddhist Sutra opening ceremony, Buddhist music appreciation, green garden for appraisal and Prayers, it strengthens cultural exchanges between the monasteries and community, fully demonstrating the profound meaning of Guanyin compassion and love for human being, to create a Zen atmosphere with harmonious coexistence and spiritual purification.

汕头市第三届观音文化节开幕
4月6日上午，以“和谐社会、慈悲情怀”为主题的汕头市第三届观音文化节在宝峰禅寺开幕。本届观音文化节旨在弘扬历史悠久的观音传统文化，将观音菩萨慈悲精神与和谐社会文明建设融为一体。活动以观音文化讲座、书画展览、藏经楼开光庆典、佛教音乐欣赏、绿化园林迎创建、传灯祈福法会等系列活动，加强寺院与社会的文化交流，充分展现观音文化中慈悲济世、利乐有情的深刻内涵，营造和谐共处、心灵净化的禅意氛围。
