Since it was started in October last year, Shantou Wanda Plaza Project, with a total investment of about RMB 1.5 billion, has seen smooth progress. The construction company has increased inputs in manpower and logistics; 1,000 plus builders are working hard on the site of the Project. The Project is planed to be put into operation in May next year.

Wanda Plaza Project is located on the northeast side of the intersection of Chaoshan Road and Jinhu Road. It is a new generation of product of Wanda Group, namely, the 4th generation of fully intelligent commercial complex project. The Project will build the large  shopping center and supporting facilities, and introduce the movie theater, supermarket, pedestrian street, early childhood education and other forms of business. It is estimated that the Project will pay annual income tax of more than RMB 60 million, and employ about 5,000 people.

　　总投资约15亿元的汕头万达广场项目自去年10月启动建设以来进展顺利，施工单位加大人力、物流投入，共有1000多名施工人员奋战在项目工地上，计划明年5月投入运营。
　　万达广场项目位于潮汕路与金湖路交界东北侧，为万达集团新一代产品，即第四代全智能商业综合体项目，将建设大型购物中心及其配套设施用房，引入影院、超市、步行街、早教等业态，预计年创税6000万以上，创造就业约5000余人。
